Governance Business Intelligence Analyst (Quality Engineering)

BAE Systems Inc. is a leader in the defense and aerospace industry, seeking a Governance Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance quality process engineering and analysis. The role involves risk evaluation, data integrity improvement, and the development of reporting strategies to support continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate risks impacting Quality or ES Sector Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through data analysis
• Develop and implement strategies for risk visibility through dashboards and regular reporting to senior management
• Lead initiatives to ensure data from multi-disciplinary company data sources on servers or data models are available for presentation needs, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights
• Build basic ad-hoc Power BI reports and dashboards that connect to data sources to support metrics changes
• Update systems level process documentation to reflect outputs of process improvement activities
• Lead continuous improvement project to streamline, transform or mistake proof existing systems and processes
• Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma, or similar to drive sustainable improvements
• Preparation of Quality Management presentation reports which encompass the collection of data and supporting information that results in a detailed analysis
• Work collaboratively with other functions to solve business problems and/or to improve business processes
• Maintenance of QMS process tools that support the execution and compliance to the QMS

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 4-6+ years of experience or 8-10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Products
• Data Analysis Tools such as MINITAB
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience
• LSS Black Belt
