About this role
We are seeking a Mainframe Computer operator to join our team in Atlanta. This critical position bridges IT operations and physical data center monitoring to ensure 24/7 system uptime and security.
Position Logistics
- Location: Downtown Atlanta, GA (30303)
- Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (No remote/hybrid flexibility)

Unique 40-Hour Shift Schedule
This position features an unconventional, highly flexible weekly schedule:
- Weekend Core: 24 hours over the weekend (7:00 PM 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday).
- Weekday Flex: 16 hours completed anytime during the week (pick your own 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
Key Technical Skills Required
To be qualified for this position, you must have at least 2 years of experience in the following areas:
- Production Control & Scheduling: Hands-on experience with Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager.
- Systems & Networking: Monitoring distributed servers (AIX, Linux, Windows) and network protocols (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
- Data Center Facilities: Direct experience monitoring critical infrastructure, including HVAC, UPS systems, backup generators, raised floors, and fire suppression systems.
- ITIL Framework: Practical knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management policies/software.
Minimum Qualifications
- A 2-year technical/vocational degree or certificate in an IT field OR equivalent foundational IT work experience.
