Automation Engineer (Power Platform / Power Automate) (V)

They are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, streamlining business processes and enabling greater operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, with a focus on desktop flows
• Build integrations between systems using APIs, connectors, and custom services
• Develop reusable automation components and frameworks to accelerate delivery
• Integrate Power Automate solutions with core business systems, databases, and third-party platforms
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure secure and reliable data exchange
• Support backend integrations using SQL, REST APIs, and other enterprise integration patterns
• Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities and redesign them for efficiency and scalability
• Partner with stakeholders and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Deliver measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, and cost reduction
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture policies
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error-handling strategies for automation solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or workflow development
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, particularly desktop flows
• Experience integrating applications via APIs, connectors, or middleware
• Strong understanding of data sources such as SQL databases and cloud services
• Experience with version control and deployment practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, quality-focused mindset
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus
• Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus) is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Experience in financial services or insurance environments is a plus
• Exposure to data protection and compliance frameworks (e.g., DLP policies) is a plus
