Instructor - Mechanical Engineering

The University of Kansas is seeking qualified scholars and professionals for the position of Instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. The role involves teaching online courses, developing course materials, managing syllabi, and advising students while adhering to departmental policies.

Responsibilities:

• As an instructor for the university, primary duties and responsibilities include: teaching in a specific field, developing course materials, developing and managing syllabi, creating lectures and assignments, grading student work, advising students and holding office hours
• All instructors are expected to collaborate with colleagues, be current in the field, and are required to adhere to departmental, school/college and university polices and procedures

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Two years of college-level teaching in Mechanical Engineering
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering
