Manager, Data Engineering

The Manager of Data Engineering will lead a team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data architecture and ETL processes
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
