They are seeking a Market Narrative & Communications Manager to shape and amplify Smartcat's market presence through narrative ownership and executive storytelling, ensuring a cohesive communication strategy across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and evolve Smartcat’s core narrative
- Translate product capabilities into compelling, differentiated market stories
- Ensure consistency across website, campaigns, PR, and exec communications
- Build point of views that challenge the market and create category separation
- Partner with executives to develop authentic, high-impact voices
- Build a consistent executive presence that drives engagement and influence
- Turn company moments, customer wins, and industry trends into leadership content
- Lead executive social strategy, primarily on LinkedIn
- Create a repeatable content cadence (3–5 posts per week across leaders)
- Activate internal voices to amplify Smartcat’s story
- Use AI tools to scale content creation, testing, and iteration
- Drive a focused, high-impact PR strategy (not volume-based)
- Develop story angles, bylines, and media pitches
- Manage external PR contractors or boutique agencies as needed
- Identify speaking opportunities, podcasts, and awards that build credibility
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and Customer Marketing
- Turn customer stories into market-facing narratives
- Support major launches, events, and announcements with strong storytelling
- Ensure alignment between what we say, what we ship, and what the market hears
Requirements:
- 5+ years in communications, content, or narrative-driven marketing roles
- Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or high-growth tech environments
- Proven ability to build executive presence and thought leadership
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills (this is non-negotiable)
- Strong instincts for LinkedIn and modern content distribution
- Experience working with founders or senior executives
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
