Upwave is a leading measurement company focused on optimizing upper funnel campaigns through an AI-driven platform. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Product Management to lead product vision, strategy, and execution, while driving the development of products that deliver real value and measurable impact.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the long-term product vision aligned with company goals and market opportunities
- Translate business strategy into a clear, prioritized product roadmap
- Identify new product opportunities through customer insights, data, and market trends
- Build a deep, experience-near understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and decision-making through regular, direct engagement (e.g., interviews, field observation, deal support)
- Synthesize qualitative insights with product and market data to uncover non-obvious needs and shape high-conviction product bets
- Develop and maintain deep domain expertise in adtech and brand lift, including ecosystem dynamics, buyer personas, and industry trends
- Oversee end-to-end product design and development from concept through launch and iteration
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of product initiatives
- Balance speed, quality, and innovation in a fast-paced environment
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management team
- Establish clear goals, processes, and accountability across the product organization
- Instill a culture of ownership, quality, and customer empathy and curiosity across the product team, ensuring decisions are grounded in real-world context—not just metrics
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science teams to deliver best-in-class B2B analytical products
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure strong product-market fit and successful go-to-market execution
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, and collaborate with marketing to define and support our Product Marketing positioning and execution
- Define and track key product metrics to measure success and guide decisions
- Use data and experimentation to continuously improve product performance
- Align product investments with business outcomes (growth, retention, revenue)
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of building and scaling successful adtech products in a growth-stage environment
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a bias toward action and execution
- Deep understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams
- Strong analytical mindset and use data to drive decisions
- Experience in ad measurement
- Background in launching AI-driven or data-intensive products
