B-Stock is the world's largest B2B re-commerce platform, connecting sellers and buyers of returned, trade-in, and overstock inventory. The Senior Product Manager will oversee product execution, define requirements, and drive adoption, working cross-functionally with various teams to enhance the platform's features and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Drive product execution: Own discovery, prioritization, and delivery across multiple product areas simultaneously — from defining the problem through launch and iteration; AI enables you to carry more scope, and we expect you to
- Define requirements: Translate business goals and user needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can execute with confidence
- Own your outcomes: Define success before you build, track it rigorously after launch, and treat adoption and user conversion as your responsibility — not something that happens automatically after shipping
- Drive adoption: Take ownership of feature adoption and user conversion to new solutions; shipping is the beginning, not the end
- Partner cross-functionally: Work effectively with engineering, design, operations, account management, and client teams to align on priorities and remove blockers
- Support enterprise clients: Collaborate with account management and operations to translate client needs into product requirements and manage expectations through delivery
- Communicate directly: Articulate product strategy, tradeoffs, and progress clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels — from engineering stand-ups to leadership reviews; no hedging, no ambiguity
- Prototype and validate fast: Use AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, rapid prototyping, and hypothesis testing — reducing the time between idea and validated signal
- Develop domain fluency: Quickly build working knowledge of the product areas you own and the users who depend on them
- Stay current: Actively track product best practices, AI tooling developments, and industry trends — and bring what you learn back to how the team works
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably within a B2B, SaaS, marketplace, or e-commerce environment
- BA/BS/MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated history of shipping features with measurable business impact across varied product domains
- Proficiency in product management and collaboration tools; comfort working with technical documentation and engaging directly with engineering teams
- High agency: You take ownership, move without being told, and push for excellence — you're not waiting for a roadmap to be handed to you
- Strong ability to define the right problem before jumping to solutions; knows how to separate symptoms from root causes
- Able to read API documentation, understand system architecture tradeoffs, and hold credible conversations with engineering
- Proficiency in defining KPIs, analyzing product data, and using insights to drive prioritization and evaluate outcomes
- Strong ability to write detailed PRDs and manage technical backlogs with minimal oversight
- Genuine curiosity about the people you build for — sellers and buyers — and a disciplined habit of validating assumptions before committing to build
- Excellent written and verbal communication for PRDs, stakeholder updates, and cross-functional alignment
- Uses AI tools — including Claude and Claude Code — as a core part of how they work, not a novelty; this means faster research synthesis, sharper PRDs, rapid prototyping, and the ability to carry more product surface area than a traditional PM
- Can work autonomously within a strategic framework, make sound product decisions, and deliver results consistently
- Experience with B2B marketplace, auction, or re-commerce platforms
- Background working across multiple product domains within a single company — seller tools, buyer experience, platform infrastructure, or similar
- Familiarity with enterprise client dynamics and the product considerations that come with managing large, complex accounts
- Exposure to logistics, payments, or operational workflows in a product context
- History of improving adoption metrics and user conversion through deliberate post-launch iteration
- Experience supporting platform migrations or large-scale feature rollouts
- Familiarity with agile development processes and continuous delivery
