About this role
Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their Corporate Systems & Support Services. The Project Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while developing detailed project plans and monitoring milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Project Manager manages and oversees all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget
- Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables
- Develops detailed project plans
- Implements and supports 3rd party applications
- Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports
- Evaluates and manages risk
- Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables
- Possesses strong knowledge of technology
- Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work
- Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or similar discipline from an accredited college or university
- 2-4 years of directly related experience
- Seasoned experience in managing software development projects using Traditional and Agile Development methodology
- Experience in managing infrastructure projects (hardware upgrades, new data centers, network communications, disaster recovery sites, etc.)
- Experience in implementing vendor software
- Software development
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Proven experience in risk management
- Proven experience in change management
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
- Negotiation skills
- Conflict Management skills
- Planning and organization skills
- PMP Certification desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products including Projects desirable
- Knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow software desirable
- Azure Cloud project experience desirable
- Retail Pharmacy / Pharmacy Benefit Management desirable
