As a Product Manager I, you will support delivery and evolving product strategy, contributing to product direction while building relationships with clients and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Support delivery and evolving product strategy on one of our distributed teams that support a federal agency client
- Contribute meaningfully to product direction on your workstream
- Build relationships with clients and team members
- Take increasing ownership of discovery, requirements, and delivery outcomes over time
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2+ years applicable related experience managing scrum teams
- Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States
- Knowledge of agile frameworks and principles and the ability to coach and mentor peers as needed
- Knowledge of the requirements management cycle with excellence in defining, writing and testing requirements, acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Relationship building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments
- Communication skills across business, technical and creative stakeholders
- Proven ability driving progress in ambiguous environments
- Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role
- Management of complex systems and lower environments
- Identify risks and implement mitigation techniques in a timely manner
- Serve as a trusted partner and advise customers on team's product vision and roadmap
- Experience deriving accurate business value to stakeholders and managing tradeoffs
- Health Care Industry and/or CMS experience
- Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
- Some knowledge of development environments, platforms, and technologies including Salesforce, Java, general web development and cloud technology
- Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
- Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment
- Formal training in a variety of agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe
- Experience in a rapidly growing small business or startup environment
- Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience
- Experience building digital healthcare technology products and services
- Experience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulations, and systems — such as CMS programs, FHIR, eCQMs, or value-based care initiatives
- Familiarity with ATO processes, FedRAMP, or other federal compliance frameworks
- Experience with quality reporting, payment models, or public-facing healthcare transparency programs
- Familiarity in agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and WCAG standards
- 2+ years working on a remote team
