Job Overview:
Pay Range: $20hr - $23hr
- The Manufacturing Operator I will support production and manufacturing operations by operating computer-controlled equipment, performing basic machining and inspection tasks, and ensuring product quality in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- The role involves working in a GMP-compliant setting, performing measurements, and supporting production efficiency and safety standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0 3 years of experience in production, operations, manufacturing, or related field.
- Basic mechanical and computer skills.
- Basic math skills including calculations with decimals and percentages.
- Ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Experience:
- 0 3 years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience in regulated environments such as GMP manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with precision machining and inspection tools preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production and machining equipment.
- Work with computer-controlled equipment including lathes, grinders, and robotic systems.
- Perform inspection and functional testing of manufactured components.
- Take measurements using precision tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of machine equipment.
- Maintain production quality and follow GMP and regulatory standards.
- Record measurements and production data accurately.
- Support precision machining and manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production workflows.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures.
Should Have:
- Experience with Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, and Fanuc Robotics.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Experience working with computer-controlled manufacturing systems.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of basic machining concepts.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualification And Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
