The Senior Business Systems Analyst (ERP A&F and Labor) is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient business systems in support of organizational functions and processes, focusing on Labor Collection and Costpoint Accounting and Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, development, implementation, and enhancement of ERP business systems and related applications to improve business processes, operations, and information flow. Analyze system effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations and solutions to address business and technical issues
- Collaborate with business leaders, end users, and technical teams to gather requirements, resolve system issues, respond to ERP Help Desk requests, and ensure systems align with business objectives and industry best practices
- Lead or participate in system design sessions, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support activities, including user acceptance testing, documentation, training, and mentoring of less experienced team members
- Develop and maintain project plans, system documentation, reports, models, and specifications while coordinating project activities and monitoring progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ERP-related initiatives
- Provide advanced technical and functional support for ERP systems, including troubleshooting complex issues, coordinating with Deltek Customer Support, and supporting labor-related systems within TESS 10 and Costpoint HCM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, mathematics, information technology, computer sciences, a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 2-3 years experience with business systems, either as an end user or in an analysis role
- Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Deltek TESS 10, Costpoint, and Shop Floor Time or equivalent systems, with the ability to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across functional teams, end users, technical staff, and leadership
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and business issues to audiences at all levels of the organization, including external partners and vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with Cognos or similar reporting tools and a foundational understanding of project accounting principles
