Industrial Engineering Senior Consultant

Guidehouse is a consulting firm seeking an Industrial Engineering Senior Consultant to support the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions for manufacturing processes. The role involves working closely with clients and teams to optimize industrial processes through continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions
• Recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes
• Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes

Requirements:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED 'SECRET' Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• FIVE (5) years + of experience related to Industrial Engineering or general engineering discipline
• Experience with value stream mapping of manufacturing processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with analysis of current and future state of industrial manufacturing processes and developing plan for closing gaps
• Knowledge of discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.)
