Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled Clickhouse DBA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, particularly with Clickhouse, and will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our database systems. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our data needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Clickhouse databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor database health, performance, and usage, and implement necessary optimizations.
- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Clickhouse databases.
- Develop and maintain database architecture, ensuring alignment with application requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to support data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide technical support to stakeholders.
- Implement security policies and practices to protect sensitive data stored in Clickhouse.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Clickhouse or similar high-performance database systems.
- Proven experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure that support Clickhouse deployments.
