About the Role:
Join a world-class engineering team focusing on next-generation RF hardware. You will lead the development of complex RF evaluation boards, owning the process from schematic entry and layout routing to simulation and final hardware bring-up.What You Will Do:
- Design and optimize RF PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro.
- Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations using Ansys HFSS.
- Lead hardware bring-up and debug issues to validate performance against design specs.
- Conduct RF characterization using VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Collaborate with RFIC Design teams to define board requirements and provide performance feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in RF PCB design and hardware development.
- Software: Expert proficiency in Cadence Allegro and Ansys HFSS (or equivalent).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of RF theory (S-parameters, matching networks) and PCB materials (Rogers, Megtron).
- Lab Skills: Hands-on experience with high-speed probing and RF test equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python/C# for test automation.
- Knowledge of AI/ML for signal classification or data analysis.
- Experience with wafer-level RF probe stations.
