UI/UX Design Intern

Team Pumpkin is seeking a creative and enthusiastic UI/UX Design Intern to join their team. This internship offers hands-on experience in designing user-friendly and visually engaging web and mobile applications while collaborating with designers and developers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and understanding user requirements with guidance from the design and product team
• Support the creation of wireframes, user flows, storyboards, and UI layouts
• Design basic user interface elements such as buttons, menus, icons, and navigation components
• Help develop mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure smooth implementation of designs
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Assist in maintaining consistency in typography, colors, layouts, and overall brand guidelines
• Conduct basic research on design trends, user behavior, and competitor interfaces
• Identify and suggest improvements for user experience and interface usability
• Make design revisions based on feedback from stakeholders and senior designers

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Computer Applications, or a related field
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar software
• Portfolio, personal projects, or case studies showcasing design skills will be an advantage
• Good creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Basic understanding of mobile and web design patterns is preferred
• Exposure to AI-powered design tools such as Figma AI, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Uizard, or similar platforms is a plus
• Interest in learning AI-assisted workflows for wireframing, content generation, and design ideation
• Curiosity about emerging trends in UI/UX and AI-driven product experiences
