Luxfer MEL Technologies is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services to technology industries worldwide. The Sales Account Manager will manage US Catalysis accounts, focusing on maintaining and growing sales volume, revenue, and profit while collaborating with various teams and traveling extensively within the Americas.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the business relationship with both established and prospective Direct Accounts within the Catalysis area
- Deliver annual / quarterly financial targets in line with the Company’s budget
- Develop and grow relationships with customers
- Develop new sales opportunities (customers / products)
- Support and coordinate new product introductions to customers
- Proactively participate in the innovation product portfolio aligned to the Company’s aspirations and goals
- Manage the Opportunity Pipeline within CRM customer management system
- Accountable for pricing implementation, handling customer complaints and assisting in credit control queries
- Participate in the monthly forecasting procedure
- Grow the business aligned to the company’s strategy and aspirations
- Attend and represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions
- Travel to customers / events
- Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested
Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Chemistry
- Minimum 7 years of experience in either Sales or Technical Sales or Business Development, preferably in the Chemicals/Energy/Defense Sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience using MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- This position requires access to our export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, and services.
