Sr. Staff Engineer, Computer Vision

Stryker is a leading medical technology company, and they are seeking a Senior Staff Computer Vision Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design and development of advanced computer vision and machine learning technologies. In this role, you will influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive innovation across cutting-edge products and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams while influencing architecture and design decisions
• Architect scalable AI-enabled systems and guide technical tradeoff discussions for complex software platforms
• Translate customer and business needs into technical strategies, system architectures, and product requirements
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to accelerate innovation
• Drive technical excellence through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Partner with R&D, Product, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
• Influence technical direction across multiple projects and initiatives
• Drive innovation through invention disclosures, patents, and technical contributions
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across North America and India
• Mentor and develop technical talent across the organization
