Description:

Experienced Data Engineer responsible for end-to-end migration from UKG Pro/Kronos to Workday, including extraction, transformation, loading, and downstream integrations, working closely with business stakeholders and Workday SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) between UKG and Workday (preferred over DB migration).
• Handle API authentication (OAuth2, token-based) and implement secure access.
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault + Databricks Secret Scopes (dbutils).
• Implement token refresh and retry mechanisms for API reliability.
• Process JSON data and handle schema evolution in Databricks.
• Build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant data pipelines.
