Lead Enterprise Project Manager

Mercy is a healthcare organization seeking a Lead Enterprise Project Manager to oversee large-scale strategic initiatives and projects. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while consulting with stakeholders and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Enterprise Project Office.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver, as a project manager, large-scale strategic initiatives and projects ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, meeting quality standards and measures, and transitioned to operations as managed solutions
• Consult sponsors and stakeholders on large, highly complex, highly visible strategic initiatives and projects for Mercy ministry-wide to achieve specific business goals or objectives
• Ensure strategic alignment of anticipated project outcomes with business needs and works with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Provide organizational navigation between business, clinical, and technology entities and consultation to ensure projects account for strategic alignment and unforeseen impacts to Mercy's mission
• Deliver high standards in project delivery and support the Enterprise Project Office to continuously improve project standards and knowledge resources
• Contribute to and maintain the Project Management Center of Excellence standards at Mercy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 9 years of project management experience
• 5 years relevant healthcare experience
• Prior or current Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute or equivalent, such as American Academy of Project Management
