Data Migration Engineer Contractor

Deloitte is an inclusive culture that empowers their people, and they are seeking a Database Engineer Contractor. In this role, you will design and optimize database systems, develop ETL processes, and ensure data integrity and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize database systems to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis
• Design and construct large relational databases to meet project requirements
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate new systems with existing data warehouse structures
• Optimize database performance by refining system functionality and ensuring efficient data retrieval
• Implement and enforce database security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality
• Perform regular data validation and quality checks to ensure database accuracy and reliability

Requirements:

• 6-9 years experience Mainframe (IBM z/OS Mainframe) – Data Migration
• 3-5 years experience AWS Java
• 3-5 years experience AWS Python
• Candidates must be geographically based in the United States
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
