Data Engineering Analyst I

Buyers Edge Platform is a leading digital procurement network and solutions provider for the foodservice industry. The Data Engineering Analyst I position involves analyzing various file types and maintaining data flow through proprietary software, while collaborating with team members and external partners to troubleshoot data challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure data deadlines are met by routinely checking data sets
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within data loading process
• Communicate with other internal teams to resolve data issues as needed
• Review test files and import data into production database
• Balance regular tasks with daily troubleshooting issues that arise
• Create automation, when possible, to complete tasks involving large amounts of data

Requirements:

• College degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience
• High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Aptitude for solving problems
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
