About this role
CommonSpirit Health is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, dedicated to building a healthier future for all through its integrated health services. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead complex software projects, ensuring architectural integrity and coding standards while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Develop detailed technical specifications and solution designs to implement these improvements
- Lead and actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, retrospective). Collaborate effectively with business analysts, scrum masters, QA analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver impactful projects
- Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end DevOps solutions using .NET, Java, and other relevant technologies. Write code and scripts to enhance or customize processes. Proficient in languages like Java, C#, Python, Angular, Spring, and scripting languages
- Leverage expertise in Microsoft BI software (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), Blackbaud CRM SDK (Infinity SDK), and analytics tools (SRSS, PowerBI, Tableau) to analyze data and inform solution development
- Document and demonstrate solutions through clear and concise documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and code. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability. Debug and resolve issues that arise during testing or production
Requirements:
- Bachelors Of Science Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a senior-level Healthcare environment., upon hire
- 5+ years of experience working in IT as a Software Engineer or equivalent software development role
- None, upon hire
- 2+ years of experience with the Infinity SDK for Blackbaud CRM
- 2+ years of experience writing reports for Blackbaud CRM and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge
- 2+ years of experience using Brightvine's Data Loader
- 2+ years of experience using Zuri's Velocity
