Director, HR Business Partner, Global R&D

BeiGene is a company focused on fighting cancer, and they are seeking a Director, Human Resource Business Partner for their Global R&D functions. The role involves supporting leadership in talent development, organizational performance, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the mid/long-term HR/talent strategy and implementation plan according to business strategy
• Partner with business leaders to do workforce planning, organization design and development
• Lead the global annual performance review and year-end compensation planning and equity planning for designated client groups
• Proactively resolve complex business concerns, focused on root cause analysis
• Partner with COEs, delivering strategic business insight to guide development of programs to support the people strategy
• Lead the talent review process and ensure the succession of critical positions
• Lead and drive initiatives in partnership with COEs in support of a high-performance culture
• Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive that culture
• Engage on employee relations cases in partnership with the Legal and ER teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of increasing HRBP responsibilities
• Vast experience in organization development, talent management, proven and successful ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting people management programs within a business
• Demonstrate successful experience building awareness on key organizational issues and presenting a relevant solution, guide departmental heads, management, and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision-making process
• Excellent communication skills to ensure that the interactions with business function heads and managers, and proper implementation of various management strategies and procedures, will ultimately lead to improved business performance
• Commitment to the company's values with ability to demonstrate those positively and proactively across the organization in everyday performance and interactions
• Able to lead change efforts and manage in a fluid environment
• Demonstrated strong business acumen and experience
• Energetic, highly self-motivated, and able to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in dealing with ER issues
