About this role
Da Vinci is seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and stabilization of the client’s enterprise Apigee Hybrid API platform across multi-cloud and on-prem environments. The role involves provisioning and managing Kubernetes infrastructure, supporting CI/CD integration, and ensuring production readiness while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provisioning and managing Kubernetes infrastructure, deploying Apigee Hybrid runtimes and Akamai components, configuring multi-cloud networking, and developing Terraform-based infrastructure as code
- The role will also support CI/CD integration, observability and SIEM connectivity, and production readiness activities while collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- This individual will operate in a milestone-driven environment, ensuring infrastructure readiness, supporting go-live timelines, and providing documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term operational ownership
Requirements:
- 3+ years Kubernetes (AKS required; GKE/on-prem preferred) -Strong multi-cloud (Azure & GCP) experience
- Terraform / IaC and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Familiarity with Apigee Hybrid architecture
- Understanding of edge platforms (Akamai preferred)
- Experience with observability, SIEM, and Zero-Trust security
- Self-driven problem solver
- Able to work in milestone-driven, dependency-heavy environment
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills
- Experience supporting cross-cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Resume highlighting Kubernetes, multi-cloud, and API platform experience -Short summary aligning to role requirements
- Pro Desk API
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; OR equivalent 5+ years of experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience programming in SQL
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines and data assets using batch and/or streaming processes
- Healthcare / regulated environment experience
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications
- Apigee Hybrid or Akamai (Noname) experience
- GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
