Electrical Engineer PE

TEC Group, Inc. is a company focused on advanced manufacturing solutions, and they are seeking an Electrical Engineer PE to contribute to projects for data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. The role involves providing design work, collaborating with a technical team, and managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule for electrical systems in complex facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
• Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements
• Management of quality, scope, budget and schedule

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• At least 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
• Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Ability to lead a team of Electrical Engineers
• At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Passionate about buildings and construction
• Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites
