SuppliFlex is a technology company focused on helping multi-channel e-commerce small and medium businesses streamline their operations. They are seeking a UX/UI Designer Intern to support the design team in creating user-centered interfaces for their web-based platform, assisting with user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with user research
- Help translate user needs into wireframes and low- to high-fidelity prototypes
- Refine interface layouts, components, and interaction patterns
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design specifications are clear and feasible
- Participate in design reviews and iterate on feedback to improve usability
- Document design decisions
- Maintain design system assets
- Contribute ideas to enhance the overall user experience for multi-channel e-commerce SMBs
Requirements:
- Foundational skills in UX research methods (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing) and the ability to translate insights into design improvements
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Understanding of UI design principles, including layout, typography, color, and responsive design for web applications
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and basic interaction design patterns for SaaS or web platforms
- Strong visual communication skills and attention to detail in organizing design files, annotations, and handoff documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting, accept feedback constructively, and manage time across multiple tasks
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Interest in e-commerce, operations, or inventory management is a plus; prior experience with startups or SaaS products is beneficial but not required
