As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality applications by embedding automation-first quality practices and integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Execute an automation-first QA strategy with Cypress as the primary test automation framework for: End-to-end UI testing , API testing, Performance validation, Accessibility compliance testing, Regression and smoke testing
- Integrate Cypress test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Implement quality initiatives across multiple Scrum teams, focusing on defect prevention and release confidence
- Perform manual testing activities including exploratory testing, regression validation, and UAT
- Ensure applications meet Section 508 / WCAG accessibility requirements, leveraging Cypress-integrated tools such as Axe and Lighthouse
- Act as quality advocate during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness
- Communicate quality risks, trends, and release readiness clearly to stakeholders
Requirements:

- US Residency for at least the past 3 years
- Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation

- Familiarity with automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured), with Cypress as the preferred standard
- Experience conducting accessibility testing (Section 508 / WCAG)
- Understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript–based test automation
- Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker)
- Experience testing APIs
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum development practices
- Understanding FHIR
- Experience in federal government or regulated environments
