Alpha Omega is looking for an experienced business analyst to join our team to support one of our government customers. The primary responsibilities include leading business analysis activities, developing documentation, and supporting modernization initiatives for legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Leading stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitation around predominantly legacy systems
- Developing BRDs, functional specifications, and process documentation
- Ensuring end-to-end requirements traceability
- Standardizing Documentation
- Establishing consistent requirements and system documentation
- Supporting audit and compliance requirements
- Enhancing Quality Assurance Practices
- Introducing repeatable and measurable testing processes
- Reducing production defects and incident volumes
- Improving Change and Release Management
- Enabling clearer impact analysis for enhancements and fixes
- Supporting predictable and controlled release cycles
- Supporting Future Modernization Initiatives
- Providing foundational documentation for cloud migration and system upgrades
- Reducing risk in future transformation efforts
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Highly responsive to customer needs
- Good communicator and innovator
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- US Citizen; Public Trust clearance
- Experience with GitHub work item management
