Lead Full Stack Engineer - Capital One Software (Remote)

Capital One is a financial services company that has embraced technology and data to innovate in the marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining the marketing website, ensuring performance, accessibility, and ease of management while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build and maintain our Marketing website using React, Next.js and Tailwind.css with a focus on performance and scalability
• Partner with design to implement polished, pixel-perfect UI components with a strong eye for detail
• Integrate with third party services including analytics, CMS, Marketo Forms and A/B testing tools
• Establish and maintain staging and production deployments with reliability and speed
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate campaign and product goals into technical solutions
• Drive Core Web Vitals scores, SEO best practices and web accessibility across all the pages
• Govern and continuously optimize development and operations workflows - from branching strategies and release processes to incident response time

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience
• Strong understanding of React and Next JS including App Router, server components and SSG/SSR strategies
• Strong understanding of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and responsive/accessible components
• Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms and third party APIs
• Experience working directly with Marketing and design stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• 3+ years of experience with Contentful CMS
• Experience with design systems Figma, ShadCn UI
