Cloud Security Engineer

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD Impact Levels 2, 4, and 5 security controls within cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD IL 2, 4, and 5 security controls
• Implement security controls and frameworks within cloud environments to ensure compliance with relevant policies
• Manage identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring, and cloud-native security solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in cloud-based web development
• Demonstrated experience implementing cloud security frameworks, configuring identity and access management (IAM) solutions, and conducting vulnerability assessments in cloud environments
• Experience with SIEM tools, zero-trust architecture, and cloud security monitoring solutions
• Active Secret
• CISSP
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
