One Step Software is the #1 software powering thousands of sober living homes across the United States. They are seeking a hands-on Product Marketer to own and grow lead generation, running ads, building landing pages, producing content, and designing experiments to improve marketing effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Own lead generation for sales. Define, build, and continuously improve the programs that produce a reliable, growing flow of qualified SMB leads
- Run paid acquisition across channels. Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns on the platforms that work for our audience — Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and others — with rigorous testing and disciplined budget allocation
- Build and optimize the funnel. Create landing pages, lead magnets, email and nurture flows, and run ongoing conversion-rate optimization
- Produce content that converts. Develop SEO-driven and sales-enabling content — from keyword strategy through published assets that rank and drive pipeline
- Experiment relentlessly. Maintain a steady cadence of well-measured tests, read the results honestly, and scale what works
- Use AI as a force multiplier. Leverage AI tools to produce more, test faster, and operate with the output of a much larger team
Requirements:
- 2+ years driving growth or product marketing for SMB-focused B2B startups, with demonstrated results generating qualified leads or building scalable pipelines
- Hands-on operator experience. You have personally run paid campaigns (and managed real budgets), built and shipped landing pages, written marketing content, and owned the outcomes — not just briefed others to do it
- A track record of creative, resourceful marketing. You've found unconventional ways to reach and convert customers, and you can point to specific things you launched and the impact they had
- Fluency with modern marketing and AI tooling, and a genuine appetite to continue learning and keeping up with the newest and latest marketing trends
- Analytical and data-honest. You set up clean ways to measure the results of the various strategies, let the numbers guide decisions, and change course quickly when something isn't working
- A bias toward shipping. You'd rather launch, learn, and iterate than plan in the abstract
- An entrepreneurial soul. You are an entrepreneur at heart and are excited about a role that doesn't have a monotonous script or strict guidelines for you to follow
