Role Overview
- Lead end-to-end workflow discovery and documentation across business and technical teams
- Conduct Lean Six Sigma Value Stream Analysis to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and non-value-added steps
- Translate business processes into technical workflow models (BPMN 2.0+)
- Define future-state optimized workflows to reduce cycle time and improve decision-making
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate workflows into system design and automation requirements
- Support implementation of workflows in orchestration tools (e.g., Flowable) using BPMN/DMN and serverless orchestration
- Develop process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and working sessions to validate requirements and workflows
- Support continuous process improvement post-deployment through metrics and feedback loops
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst
- Strong experience with Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping
- Hands-on experience with BPMN modeling and workflow design tools
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and system workflows
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams such as engineers, designers, and data analysts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust (or higher) clearance
