Trinus Corporation is seeking a QA Engineer focused on delivering a modern web application with strong quality engineering practices. This role will drive shift-left testing, build automation-first validation, and ensure high-quality delivery across incremental migration, identity integration, and complex multi-step workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for Web UI, API, and end-to-end workflows
- Build and maintain automated test suites
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback cycles
- Perform in-sprint testing (shift-left) including build validation, smoke testing, and regression automation
- Validate identity and authentication flows (SSO, login, MFA, migration scenarios)
- Ensure test coverage for multiple user scenarios
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to Clarify requirements, Define acceptance criteria and Drive defect triage and resolution
- Support release readiness validation in staging environments and coordinate QA sign-off cycles
Requirements:
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for both UI and API testing
- Proficiency with API testing tools and methodologies to ensure reliable and scalable service validation
- Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing, quality assurance, and reporting
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, including in-sprint testing, shift-left quality initiatives, and close collaboration with development teams
- Experience validating modern web applications, including React-based user interfaces, across various functional scenarios
- Expertise in backend and API testing, including validation of Node.js applications and microservices architectures
- Experience managing test data, coordinating test environments, and ensuring test readiness across multiple stages of the development lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of authentication flows (SSO, OAuth, MFA, token-based systems)
- Regression testing strategies and defect tracking
