Head of Finance

Flip is a company known for its innovative voice AI technology, serving a diverse range of clients. They are seeking a Head of Finance to design and implement financial systems and processes, manage accounting and compliance, and lead fundraising efforts as they scale from $10M to $100M ARR.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, tax, audit, and compliance (currently using QuickBooks, Bill.com, Brex, etc.)
• Implement scalable systems and processes for billing, collections, revenue recognition, and financial controls
• Deliver timely and accurate financial statements and consolidated reporting
• Continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP and statutory accounting
• Create, document and implement internal control process initiatives
• Manage multi-jurisdiction tax strategy and compliance, including tax planning and reporting
• Build scalable forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to guide decision-making
• Partner with GTM, and Product to align resource allocation with company priorities
• Develop and monitor KPIs and unit economics to track business performance
• Vendor negotiations on core tech systems
• Partner with close functional peers on reporting and revenue dashboards
• Partner with the CEO on capital strategy, future fundraising, and board management
• Build financial models and narratives to support investor conversations
• Own investor reporting, ensuring clear, consistent communication of metrics
