Codexstudios.io is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong DevOps expertise to support the development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of their Salesforce ecosystem. The role involves designing and supporting Salesforce solutions, managing DevOps processes, and collaborating with various teams to enhance delivery quality and streamline deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce platforms
- Own and improve Salesforce DevOps processes, including source control, CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation
- Manage deployments using Gearset, including validation, promotion, rollback planning, and release coordination
- Maintain and enhance GitHub-based development workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and version control standards
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for Salesforce deployments, testing, validation, and automation
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, QA, and business teams to ensure stable and reliable releases
- Support environment management across sandboxes, staging, and production
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, metadata conflicts, failed validations, and integration-related problems
- Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and best practices for Salesforce development and DevOps
- Work with teams operating in an AWS cloud environment, with an emphasis on serverless-first infrastructure patterns where applicable
Requirements:
- Significant hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, metadata, Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows, integrations, and configuration
- Practical experience with Salesforce DevOps and release management
- Hands-on experience with Gearset for Salesforce deployments and environment comparison
- Strong experience using GitHub for source control and collaborative development
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
- Comfortable working with sandbox strategy, branching models, deployment validation, and release governance
- Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce deployment and metadata issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
- Availability to work primarily within Pacific or Mountain time zone hours
- Experience working in an AWS-based cloud environment
- Familiarity with serverless-first architecture patterns, such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, or related services
- Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-native services or external systems
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Administrator, or Application Architect
- Experience with automated testing, static code analysis, and quality gates in Salesforce delivery pipelines
