About this role
Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates is seeking a highly skilled HCM DevOps Engineer to support enterprise cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment initiatives. The role involves designing and maintaining DevOps solutions, managing SAP Converged Cloud environments, and developing CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain DevOps solutions for enterprise applications and cloud platforms
- Manage and support infrastructure within SAP Converged Cloud environments
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Ansible
- Administer and troubleshoot SUSE Linux environments
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash
- Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD
- Manage secrets and secure configurations using HashiCorp Vault
- Support cloud infrastructure and services across enterprise environments
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment processes
- Support multi-tenant platforms and cloud-native solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation
- Strong expertise with SAP Converged Cloud
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Strong automation experience using Ansible
- Advanced knowledge of SUSE Linux administration
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with cloud computing environments and database technologies
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
- Experience building, implementing, or supporting multi-tenant solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes best practices
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud deployments
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience supporting HCM applications and platforms
