DevOps Engineer (AWS)

IMPACT Technology Recruiting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their client’s team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Assess existing DevOps processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Partner with Development, QA, Operations, and business teams to drive successful delivery outcomes
• Establish and promote DevOps standards, governance, and best practices
• Mentor team members and help mature the overall DevOps organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience within AWS environments
• Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Kubernetes administration and deployment experience
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
• Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify gaps, and help drive DevOps maturity and operational excellence
• Experience supporting Salesforce environments
• Understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and platform-specific DevOps considerations
• Experience with Gearset for Salesforce code deployments
• Experience helping build or scale DevOps practices within enterprise organizations
