Maximus is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives in the El Paso area, TX to join our growing team. This position is responsible for supporting the Health Texas Enrollment Broker project by providing customer care and enrollment services for health benefits via telephone, IVR, and web-based portals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services in a contact center
- Respond to customer inquiries received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services
- Record customer interactions and transactions, by documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Address customer inquiries and resolve problems to ensure that appropriate changes are made
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns
- Navigate multiple computer systems and add appropriate documentation to the systems while speaking with a customer
- Perform data entry accurately
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0-6 months of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX (Must live in Texas)
- Reliable, high-speed internet service
- Minimum 20 Mbps download speeds
- Must be a traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber
- Must be able to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via ethernet cable, Wi-Fi connections are not allowed
- Quiet and distraction-free workspace
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred
