About this role
Connection has a fantastic opportunity for an Agile Project Manager in the healthcare industry. This role involves managing multiple procurement initiatives and driving project execution using Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple procurement and business-focused initiatives simultaneously using Agile project management methodologies
- Drive project planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications across a large portfolio of projects
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project reviews
- Partner with procurement leadership and cross-functional business teams to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively developing mitigation plans
- Coordinate priorities and resources across numerous concurrent initiatives
- Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to leadership stakeholders
- Utilize project management tools to track milestones, deliverables, budgets, and project health
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex business initiatives
- Proven experience serving as an Agile Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience utilizing a variety of project management methodologies and project management tools
- Procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, contract management, or supply chain project experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience supporting enterprise business transformation or operational improvement initiatives
