DC INFOTECH CLOUD SOLUTIONS is an officially recognized Google Cloud Service Partner in India, specializing in cloud migration and Google Cloud implementation. The Google Cloud Engineer Intern will assist in designing, deploying, and managing solutions on Google Cloud Platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to cloud migration activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, deploying, and managing solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including compute, networking, storage, and basic DevOps workflows
- Help with cloud migration activities, configuring infrastructure resources, monitoring environments, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers
- Support documentation of architectures and procedures, contribute to simple automation scripts, and participate in team discussions on performance, security, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn from real client projects, and stay current with Google Cloud features and best practices
Requirements:
- Foundational understanding of Cloud Computing and interest in Google Cloud Platform services
- Basic knowledge of Infrastructure concepts such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and security controls
- Exposure to Linux operating systems, including command-line usage, file system navigation, and basic shell operations
- Familiarity with Databases (SQL or NoSQL), including simple queries, schema concepts, and data modeling fundamentals
- Introductory experience in Software Development using at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Go) for scripting or automation
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with mentors and team members across locations
- Any exposure to GCP labs, coursework, or certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Digital Leader) is a plus
