Our Client which is a large Payroll Firm is urgently looking for Lead GitHub SME- Azure Devops and Architect.
Lead GitHub SME- Azure Devops and Architect.
100 % Remote.
Long Term Contract.
Core Responsibilities
Design and own the end-to-end GitHub platform, including organization structure, repository standards, and integration architecture.
Establish and enforce strict developer standards for repository layouts and overall configuration workflows.
Govern the GitHub security and control model, managing pipeline-based security, secrets protection, code scanning, and systematic remediation patterns.
Design and evolve shared platform capabilities, including reusable workflows, automation patterns, and GitHub Copilot Agent strategies.
Continuously update platform standards, guardrails, and integrations as GitHub capabilities and security requirements change.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of recent, demonstrated experience owning or architecting organizational-scale GitHub Enterprise platforms.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or a related field.
Technical Background: Strong background in DevSecOps, secure software development lifecycles (SDLC), pipeline-based security controls, and defining developer-centric workflows across a federated enterprise environment.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to produce clear standards, technical guidance, and executive-level presentations.
