About this role
Nasscomm is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role involves managing and supporting enterprise compute infrastructure, deploying and maintaining servers, and developing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support enterprise compute infrastructure across hardware, operating systems, virtualization, and Kubernetes platforms
- Deploy and maintain bare-metal servers running Ubuntu, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Harvester HCI
- Implement PXE-based provisioning and automated server deployment using Redfish APIs
- Administer Linux environments, primarily Ubuntu, including installation, patching, and upgrades
- Support KVM virtualization, OpenStack operations, and private cloud platforms
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Git, Python, and Bash
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation and platform updates
- Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, hardware validation, and capacity monitoring
- Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, operating systems, virtualization, and Kubernetes layers
- Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance
Requirements:
