Security Engineer (OKTA)

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer (OKTA) to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves managing identity and access management systems with a focus on automation, security enhancements, and improving end-user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for identity provisioning and security processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure applications for Okta SSO and support MFA, federation, and other IAM solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve MFA, SSO, and directory service issues, ensuring seamless user access
• Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation, security improvements, and new technical solutions
• Contribute to security incident response and support M&A activities related to IAM integrations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of direct experience with Identity and Access Management technologies
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IAM tools and platforms
• Working knowledge of Okta, MFA, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, and WS-Federation
• Experience with IAM automation and troubleshooting account provisioning issues
• Strong customer focus, relationship-building, and leadership skills
