DLB Associates is a premier engineering and consulting firm specializing in innovative solutions across various sectors. They are seeking a Recruiting Specialist to drive full cycle recruiting and talent sourcing for technical roles, partnering with hiring managers to build strong candidate pipelines and ensure a high-quality hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage full cycle recruitment for 15 to 30 active requisitions, ensuring consistent pipeline flow and timely movement of candidates through each stage
- Proactively source and engage high quality talent using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, referrals, internal databases, and niche technical communities
- Build and maintain strong, trust based partnerships with hiring managers and cross functional teams through consistent communication, including leading weekly syncs to align on hiring priorities, pipeline health, and interview outcomes
- Manage a high volume of candidate and stakeholder communication with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and candidate engagement
- Coordinate and schedule interviews efficiently, reducing time to schedule and improving overall process velocity
- Lead the end to end offer process, ensuring efficient execution, clear communication, and a high quality candidate experience
- Maintain accurate and up to date data within the ATS, ensuring visibility into pipeline health, reporting accuracy, and process integrity
- Own interviewer feedback collection, driving accountability and timely submission to support efficient decision making
- Leverage data, reporting, and insights to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion rates, and continuously optimize the recruiting process
- Utilize AI and emerging technologies to streamline sourcing, screening, and administrative workflows
- Provide general HR support, research assistance, and administrative support as needed
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Work collaboratively to assist with documenting HR procedures and processes with an eye toward streamlining and automating where possible to improve department efficiency tasks to support team priorities and business needs
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and sourcing for engineering, commissioning, and other highly technical roles within consulting, design, or field based environments
- Proven ability to identify and engage technical talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and specialized sourcing channels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence candidates and hiring managers
- Advanced proficiency in applicant tracking systems, preferably Rippling ATS, to manage pipelines, maintain data integrity, and drive visibility into recruiting activity and progress
- Solid understanding of HR processes and recruiting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, with strong organizational and file management skills
- High attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, high quality work
- Ability to leverage technology and tools creatively to improve efficiency and solve operational challenges
- Experience utilizing AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and enhance recruiting effectiveness
- Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment, demonstrating strong organization, accountability, and proactive problem solving
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional recruiting experience
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for engineering, commissioning, or field based technical roles within AEC, consulting, or similar environments
