eTeam is a company seeking a Hardware Engineer-III to support the embedded systems hardware design, development, and testing activities for medical devices. The role involves planning, designing, developing, and testing hardware for various performance metrics and working with a globally distributed team on product development and verification.
Responsibilities:
- Basic safety IEC 60601-1 and EMI/EClient testing of medical devices
- Creating Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Protocol and Test Reports
- Product sustenance activities EOL component replacement study and analysis
- MRI testing of implant devices
- Working in a global delivery environment
- By using current EDA tools, analysis techniques and technologies
- Tracking electrical development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool
- Ability to solve engineering problems by analysing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions
- Component replacement feasibility analysis, electronics component selection, and BOM life cycle verification
- Medical devices/product safety and EMI/EClient testing as per standards
- Working experience in ISO and FDA documentation and compliance for medical device is preferred
- Prior experience with measuring devices, e.g. spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, is added advantage
- Team player with ability to work independently or within project teams with general guidance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mandatory skills: Standards compliance testing of Class-II and III medtech products in Cardiac Rhythm Management
- Electrical hardware design verification testing
- Carrying out sustenance and PLM activities including test planning, test protocol creation and execution along with report creations
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in design, testing, debugging and modifying electrical circuits by using current EDA tools, analysis techniques and technologies
- Experience in tracking electrical development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool
- Ability to solve engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions
- Experience in component replacement feasibility analysis, electronics component selection, and BOM life cycle verification
- Medical devices/product safety and EMI/EClient testing as per standards
- Team player with ability to work independently or within project teams with general guidance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Standards compliance testing of Class-II and III medtech products in Cardiac Rhythm Management
