Upserve is a company focused on rebuilding the restaurant POS platform for independent full-service restaurants. They are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to build and scale the company’s content engine across various marketing initiatives, aiming to generate pipeline, support sales conversations, and strengthen brand credibility.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage Upserve’s content calendar across blog content, SEO pages, case studies, email campaigns, sales enablement, and social content
- Develop content themes tied to restaurant operations, POS switching, labor efficiency, guest experience, and restaurant profitability
- Align content strategy with pipeline generation, product launches and GTM priorities, and SEO & Demand Generation Content
- Create and optimize high-intent SEO content including "POS alternative”, “best restaurant POS”, “restaurant labor management”, “restaurant analytics” and local-market search pages
- Partner with Marketing and RevOps to improve organic traffic, conversion rates, inbound lead generation and help build a scalable long-term organic acquisition engine
- Build content for nurture campaigns, customer lifecycle communication, upsell campaigns, newsletters, and webinar follow-up
- Support activation of marketing automation and nurture workflows
- Help shape the “Upserve 2.0” market narrative
- Develop content around independent restaurant success, operational efficiency, data ownership, hospitality technology trends, and restaurant economics
- Support PR, trade media, webinars, and executive thought leadership initiatives
- Partnering closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and agency partners
- Gather insights from call reviews, customer feedback, win/loss analysis, and restaurant operator conversations
Requirements:
- 4–7+ years of content marketing, product marketing, or demand generation content experience
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience creating content for B2B SaaS or technology companies
- Strong understanding of SEO, demand generation, and conversion-oriented content
- Experience managing editorial calendars and content production workflows
- Ability to simplify complex operational or technical concepts into clear business value
- Restaurant technology, hospitality tech, POS, fintech, payments, or SMB SaaS experience
- Experience supporting sales-led GTM organizations
- Familiarity with: Salesforce, Google Analytics, and modern content workflows
- Experience creating customer case studies, webinar content, and sales enablement materials
