Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership Support
- Collaborate with the full-time CPQ Product Owner to define and refine the CPQ roadmap and sprint deliverables.
- Elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements from cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations, IT).
- Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to guide IT and development teams.
- Ensure that requirements are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, business goals, and SAP integration strategy.
Integration & Technical Alignment
- Partner with Salesforce, Conga CPQ, and SAP S/4HANA teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across systems.
- Support the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, focusing on quote-to-cash processes and pricing configurations.
- Participate in design and testing sessions to validate integration points (e.g., pricing, product master, order processing).
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT/development teams to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Gather feedback from users and translate it into actionable improvements for the CPQ platform.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training documentation, and post-deployment validation activities.
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain detailed documentation of business processes, configuration decisions, and functional specifications.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT governance, change management, and data integrity standards.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Salesforce-based solutions.
- Proven experience with Conga CPQ (Apttus), including configuration, rules, pricing, and quoting.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and data model.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration (preferably in quote-to-cash or order management domains).
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
- Salesforce and/or Conga certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Conga CPQ Specialist).
- Knowledge of middleware/integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
- Understanding of enterprise quoting, pricing, and contract lifecycle management processes.
