Role Purpose
Builds and maintains domain-specific data pipelines and transformations that turn raw source data into trusted, certified datasets ready for analytics and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Implement business logic, cleansing, and deduplication
- Create and maintain bronze silver gold data layers
- Partner with data stewards on data quality and certification
- Troubleshoot data issues and root causes
- Optimize pipelines for reliability and performance
Core Skills & Experience
- ETL/ELT development
- SQL and data transformation frameworks
- Data modeling (analytical and relational)
- Understanding of data quality concepts
- Familiarity with domain data (Customer, Dealer, Supplier, etc.)
What This Role Owns
- Domain-specific ingestion and transformations
- Business logic implementation
- Dataset reliability for downstream use
What This Role Does Not Own
- Platform architecture
- Tool administration
- Governance policy definition
