Overview
Our client, a highly regulated, large-scale engineering and manufacturing environment supporting complex, mission-critical programs where security, legacy systems, and modernization efforts must coexist, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive the development of enterprise AI/ML models that support operational decision-making, predictive insights, and automation initiatives. This role will work closely with data architecture, application delivery, and business teams to transform complex datasets into production-ready models that deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI/ML models supporting operational analytics and predictive insights
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful patterns and opportunities
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to operationalize models in production environments
- Translate business problems into scalable data science solutions
- Support automation initiatives and advanced analytics capabilities across enterprise platforms
Required Qualifications
- Deep Experience with Open FGA and/or Open Metadata
- AWS Experience, Gov Cloud Experience
- Experience in regulated or high-security environments
- Advanced experience building and deploying AI/ML models in enterprise environments
- Strong background in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and exploratory data analysis
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Proficiency with Python, R, and common machine learning frameworks
- Ability to translate business challenges into analytical and data science solutions
- Exposure to MLOps, model lifecycle management, and production deployment
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Experience supporting AI enablement or automation initiatives
